You don’t really want to see another alphabet, do you?
Instead … These are a few of my favorite calligraphers online:
- John Stevens is always an inspiration. I won’t even try to describe his work; just go see for yourself.
- Thomas Ingmire has always keeps the bar high.
- Ann Hechle doesn’t have an website, but a trawl through Google Images is a treat.
- Yukimi Annand‘s mark making is so original and so joyful.
- Gemma Black both competent and inspired.
- Georgia Angelopoulos‘s letter forms and colors are wonderful.
- Stephen Rapp‘s newly designed website includes a blog. His initial post was really interesting, and I hope he continues it.
- Laurie Doctor‘s paintings and blog are always so interesting.
- Zega Loredana has a unique approach.
- Luca Barcellona‘s flickr photo stream is amazing.
- Andrew Fox shows his quirky calligraphic figure drawings on his Behance site.
If you follow all of these links, you just might come up for air in 2017.
