I’m pedaling fast to get up to speed with Adobe’s page design program, InDesign. At Barnes & Noble today I got this book, How to Wow with InDesign, by Wayne Rankin and Mike McHugh. I’ll enjoy going through it, tutorial by tutorial, but meanwhile just looking through the book is an inspiration.

Hey, Beth, welcome to the world of InDesign! Hope you enjoy working with it and the tutorials. If you get stuck on something and the answer can’t be found in a book, feel free to email me; I might be able to help. I’m getting back up-to-speed with Dreamweaver, and having a friend (an experienced Dreamweaver user) to call is great. Of course, your teacher can probably help too!
Happy learning!
Thanks, Alice. I’m finding that it’s really fairly intuitive. I was stumbling with the concept of frame and content as separate, but that’s behind me now. I’m using Dreamweaver again too. Having abandoned Dreamweaver 8 for hand coding in EditPlus, I’m back to Dreamweaver CS3 now, which has some wonderful improvements over the old version. Yup, it’s a left-brain semester. I’m enjoying it.
