I’ve been away from the computer for a few days, recuperating from shoulder surgery. Although I can’t do art yet, today I was delighted to discover that I can actually surf the Internet again — at least for short periods of time. I came across a great article about framing paper art, by Jack Thompson here.

Thanks for the good thoughts. I’m really doing very well post-surgery. And I was relieved to find that it’s probably not calligraphy that caused the problems 🙂

Jack Thompson owns Thompson Conservation Lab in Portland, Oregon. He’s very knowledgeable. I have seen his posts on the Book-Arts-L listserve for many years now, and have always found his advice to be sound.
