Answers to a Few Address Questions Not Covered by Crane's Wedding Blue Book

Married couples with different last names -- Each person's name goes on a separate line. Some say the woman's name appears first; others say the names are listed alphabetically by surname.

Single individual with unspecified guest -- The outer envelope is addressed to Mr. John Smith; the inner envelope is addressed to Mr. Smith and guest.

Two married doctors -- The outside envelope is addressed to Dr. Jane Smith and Dr. John Smith, on separate lines; the inside envelope is addressed to The Doctors Smith.

Married woman doctor -- the outside envelope is addressed to Dr. Jane Smith and Mr. John Smith on separate lines; the inside envelope is addressed to Doctor Smith and Mr. Smith.
