Ordering your Invitations

When calculating how many invitations to order, add at least 10% to your estimated total. It is much more expensive (not to mention nerve-racking) to re-order invitations after the initial order has been filled. The extra quantity will be necessary to cover misspellings, updated addresses, ink splatters, and extra invitations for overlooked or unforeseen guests.

If, upon ordering your invitations, you find that you have not allowed enough time for the invitations to be printed and addressed, it is often possible to request that the printed envelopes be mailed before the invitations. This allows the calligrapher time to begin addressing the envelopes while the rest of the order is being printed.
