Viva Lloyd

This book is one of a limited edition of seven that I have made for the second book exchange. All the books are written on Arches paper in Schmincke gouache. I used magenta, cadmium lemon yellow and cerulean blue to obtain a rainbow effect. Each book contains a different haiku by Basho from On Love And Barley and is bound in Italian recycled paper, also of a different colour. The ribbon was chosen to complement the writing.

Book 2½″ x 2½″ x 3″ (6.4cm x 6.4cm x 7.6cm).
