As far as I know, we don&#8217;t have conclusive information about what tool he used for these letters. Ignorance is bliss in this case: I&#8217;ve tried them with a broad-edge pen, a pointed pen, a folded pen, a pointed brush, several <a href=\"https:\/\/callibeth.com\/blog\/2022\/04\/05\/more-ben-shahn-ish\/\" title=\"pencils\">pencils<\/a>, and more.
